Meet Jon Roberts

Host Jon Roberts brings over 35 years of broadcasting experience to Grand Forks Best Source. The legendary voice of the world-famous bullring at River Cities Speedway, Jon has long been a passionate supporter of the Grand Forks community and its people. An avid outdoorsman, Jon enjoys fishing on the Red River, especially catfishing with his beloved Red River Catfish Club, and hunting local game. A music devotee, Jon's eclectic taste runs from the Bee Gees to Greta Van Fleet, and like any true man of the North, he loves beer!

Owner & CEO

Meet Paul Krenelka

Paul Krenelka, Owner & CEO of Grand Forks Best Source, started out pursuing Fine Arts with an emphasis on oil painting and drawing. Like all great artists, this led him down the path of waiting tables to make ends meet, but his work ethic and attention to detail carried him up through general management, and he's successfully grown multiple companies. With over 15 years of management and sales experience, he knows the value of a solid return on your advertising dollar and how to meet local advertising needs. A family man, Paul left the corporate world to build his own legacy for his children to inherit, which led him to create GFBS. Growing up in Grand Forks and watching the town lose its local news station and newspaper, Paul saw podcasts as a way to bring media back to the community and give Grand Forks an identity again. When he isn't working, Paul rides his motorcycle for some wind therapy and takes his family camping. He also appreciates fine dining and a good glass of Pinot Noir. "If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door."

Video Producer

Meet Katie Stauss

Katie Stauss is a Video Producer at Grand Forks Best Source, assisting show production on and off camera. With interests in social media management, graphic design, and videography, Katie adds the creativity that helps make GFBS an innovative business. She attends the University of North Dakota, majoring in Communications, is an essential member of the UND Tennis Club Team, and assistant-coaches girls' tennis at Grand Forks Central High School in the spring. A UND college hockey fan in winter, she attends local racing at River Cities Speedway on Friday nights in warmer months. Katie has emerged in the world of dirt-track racing by partnering with Wes Irwin ("Living Like Outlaws"), affiliated with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Sprint Car Series, helping build Living Like Outlaws into a brand of its own with her video editing background.

Meet Dale Kulas

Dale Kulas hosts two GFBS shows: the entertainment review show Big Screens & TV Streams, and the video game show Midwest Super Pixel Pros. Born and raised in Grand Forks, he studied journalism at Northland Community & Technical College. Dale worked in the video game press and podcast scene for nearly two decades before joining GFBS, and has written about film and television for the last ten years. Beyond gaming and film, Dale is a yoga fiend and avid runner who's finished countless races from 5Ks to 50K ultra-marathons. He stays active with multiple writing projects and can often be found on his laptop with a tall cup of coffee, at the GFBS studios or a random Grand Forks coffee shop.
